    Malaysian Blog Advertising Agencies

    Malaysian bloggers now have another avenue to earn some pocket money for being in cyberspace.

    2 new blog advertising community - Nuffnang and Advertlets, have actively started to recruit Malaysian bloggers to join their respective advertising community. However, I sense some sort of rivalry going on between them or is it a marketing thing? Read A wave of allegations have hit Nuffnang lately .

    Advertisers are always on the lookout to reach a wider market for their products or services, and placing advertisements on websites is now gaining advertiser's attention. Blog readers and website visitors are prime target for advertisers as they spend a lot of time online sourcing for information and news.

    So far, Google Adsense programme is the de-facto biggest advertising agency. How far will the 2 Malaysian companies go? Time will tell, or rather, blogger's acceptance and experience will tell.

    Funny thing is, I must be amongst the last of the Malaysian bloggers (who wants to monetise their site, that is) to have heard of either of these 2 blog-advertising community. I am indeed the proverbial 'katak di bawah tempurung' or 'the ultimate ignoramus'. Both the communities were launched around March 2007 (coincidence? like minds thing alike? good feng shui? or insider snoop?)
